| The 1998 100-Day Stallion Test was held at the picturesque
Paxton Farms in Batavia, Ohio from August to November 1998. Helmut
Schrant of Illinois was the head trainer. Helmut was born and raised
in Apeldorn, Germany, where he was trained in riding, horse
breeding, farm and barn management. In 1987 he emigrated to
the United States, where he and his wife Margaret have since developed
their Meadow Brook Farm into a leading warmblood breeding and training
facility in Elgin IL. In 1990 Mr. Schrant was involved in developing
the first 100-Day test in the United States. In Helmut's very
capable hands the 100-Day Stallion Test of was the best ever held in the
United States. |
