We are very proud present our new
stallion Amour. When top German Judge Hans-joachim Ahsbhahs saw
this horse jump as a three-year-old, he said "AMOUR would be a top international
jumper". Imported at two years, he was presented and approved
as a breeding stallion and three years of age by the ISR / Odenburg
Association and the American Holsteiner Horse Association. He
was consistently given the highest possible scores for jumping talent
and ride ability.
AMOUR placed second overall with 127.85 total points in the largest 100-Day Test ever held in the USA. Twenty stallions were presented. This 3-year-old receive the highest score of all 3, 4 or 5-year-old's, and was the highest scoreing Holsteiner. He was given 9 's on jumping and rideability, 8's on walk, trot and canter. By a consensus of some of the top riders and trainers in the world Amour will continue his career in sport and breed a limited number of mares in 2000. Amour's bloodlines go back twice to
the famous stallions Alme Z and Gottard. Alme Z won both show jumping
and Grand Prix competitions. At stud he was even more successful:
Galoubet, I love you, and Jalisco are three French show jumper offspring
that went down in history. Alme Z's many approved stallion sons include
the famous Ahorn, Aldato, Alexis, and Aloube Z. Alcatraz was the top
stallion of his 100-Day Test and has produced six approved stallions
within his first few crops, with several earning perfect 10's for
jumping. Gottard was a legend in his own lifetime. The
list of his international show jumping progeny is long and includes
among many others, Galipolis, Genius 2, Goya 12, Gonzales 3k, Goldika
3, Golden Gate 4, and Quensway. Gottard had many approved sons,
among them Goldstern, Goldpilz and Goldfamt.
