Farm Services

Michigan sport horse breeding farm has 40 acres, some in pasture for broodmares and some in hay.  The rest is divided into eight board paddocks for turnout for the stallion's and the sale horses.  There are 22 stalls and a 70  by 150 foot indoor arena.  The breeding barn is separate from the riding barn and has a heated area with breeding supplies and lab instruments.  We maintain a small broodmare herd of  German stamm line mares with the best possible pedigrees for jumping and dressage.  Our farm is small but we occasionally have some top mares for sale.  Our major business during spring and summer months is collecting and shipping semen from the three stallions and occasionally handling outside stallions.

Recently we have begun importing horses from Europe, because the young horses that we are raising have been sold as soon as they are old enough to ride.  We specialize in young dressage horses and break many of them here.  At times we are able to buy schoolmasters that are a bit older and have some show experience.
