intermediate show jumping with Hans Gunther Winkler. Sire of

U.S. history), Ricardo (elite sire,

Rantares has Fox hunted, won combined training events and then continued his winning ways at FEI level dressage. He placed at Pan Am selection trials and his show record at the FEI dressage met the requirements of the ISR/OLD performance testing for stallions. At age 20 he remains sound and unblemished. He now teaches new riders the feel of a correct and strong FEI horse. His show ring performance was accomplished while breeding a full book of mares. At age 17, Olympic medalist Steffen Peters said of Rantares, "he would still be in the top five horses competing at St. Georges and intermediare I in the USA now." He passes on his versatility and soundness to his offspring.

Replica (Rantares / Lacapo): Preliminary jumper 1998, 3rdin the $5000 Futures Roanoke Valley Horse Show, 5th in the Welcome StakeNCHJA at Raleigh North Carolina; two win's in Preliminary at the Charleston Summer Classic. AHHA Champion Training Jumper and AHHA 5th Open Jumper. In December 1998 Replica won all three Open Jumper classes at Tampa, Florida.
